Focus Area:
Image and Signal Processing/Artificial Intelligence
Worked as Graduate Research Assistant:
● Performed cutting-edge research in the field of biomedical signal processing and analysis, demonstrating expertise in machine learning and data analysis.
● Explored literature reviews and maintained a strong understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends in biomedical signal processing and analysis, which informed the development of new research projects.
● Conducted research with a professor to develop a Keras-based CNN model for analyzing heart function from biological signals, which extended atrial fibrillation patient monitoring and reduced heart failure risk.
● Developed a real-time Android app for monitoring preprocessed biological signals, including ECG, PPG, and VPG, which improved research efficiency by detecting heart function and emotion. Implemented a Reactive approach to add a contactless measurement feature to the app and increase experiment data.
● Collaborated cross-functionally with the research team to design experiments, collect and analyze data, and disseminate findings.
● Demonstrated technical excellence and innovation by publishing research papers in top-tier journals and presenting findings at international
